By making a gift to the East Hampton
Library Book Fund, you join a distinguished group whose gifts
and personal commitment have built the library from its beginnings
in 1897 into one of the finest small libraries in America. The East
Hampton Library relies on the support of friends to assure its financial
strength and its long-term ability to serve the public.
Gifts to the book fund of $5000 and
over are held in an account in perpetuity with other gifts to the
fund. This makes gifts truly lasting as it enable the library to
purchase books for years to come. Donors can specify areas of the
collection they would like to help develope. Books purchased will
include beautiful bookplates to indicate the donor inside the cover
of the books. You can specify a special friend or family member
you'd like to honor with your donation.
