Upgraded Telephone System $30,000.00

The current telephone system does not allow for additional voice mail boxes and is lacking many of the features used in businesses today.
An upgraded phone system would allow the library to expand the number of phones and voice mail boxes as well as add the following features:
- A building-wide paging system that will allow the Library to quickly give important information to both patrons and staff. (This feature is extremely important for emergencies such as fire alarms.)
- An automated attendant system that includes separate daytime and nighttime menus options and that allows the Library staff to record emergency closing or change of service hours messages. (Emergency closing message will be very helpful to patrons in determining if the Library is closed or will be having a delayed opening due to snow or other inclement weather.)
- A caller ID feature which will allow staff to more easily return calls to patrons.
- A call accounting system that will enable the Library to accurately monitor and control the costs of telephone usage.
