AmeriCorps is a 10 month program for youth ages 18-24 in partnership with national volunteer groups such as American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Clubs etc.

Graduating StudentsCampus Program  provides college and employment resources.  Search American college programs by topic or state.  Find employment resources to help with job interviews and resumes.  Includes lists of city, county, and state government jobs and lists of jobs by profession.  

College Board Online provides information on SAT registration and college searches.  Includes a financial aid calculator. 

Eastern Suffolk BOCES lists career training programs and technical schools.

FAFSA - Free Application for Student Aid helps students in the application process, in English or Spanish.

Occupational Outlook Handbook is a site which describes hundreds of different careers – training and education needed; potential earnings; job prospects; what workers do at particular jobs; working conditions. 

Scholarships Find scholarships and get expert advice about applying for them.  Also provides information about colleges, jobs and internships, financial aid, and student life.

Students.gov is a U.S. government website for students and includes: planning and preparing for college; choosing a school; paying for education; military service; vocational schools.

Suffolk County Civil Service gives information about exams and employment in Suffolk County.

Today’s Military is a reference source for learning about opportunities available in any branch of the U.S. Armed forces: Air Force, Army, Army National Guard, Coast Guard, Navy, Marines.

U.S. Department of Education gives information and resources on college planning, searches, and financial aid.
