Join the Summer Reading Clubs!

REGISTRATION FOR ALL SUMMER READING CLUBS BEGINS: SATURDAY, JUNE 16TH!

AUGUST 11TH IS THE FINAL DAY TO RECORD BOOKS!

Get a Clue @ Your Library is the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Clubs:

Read-To-Me-Readers:
This club is for children ages 2 ½ to Kindergarten. Read and record at least 20 books to your child, list the titles on the reading record and return before August 11th. Earn prizes and stickers along the way! When you begin to read aloud to your children, their love for stories begins. Joining a summer reading program is not only fun but also an effective way to bond with your little ones. There will be a special show for those children having read 20 books or more.

Independent Readers:
This club is for kids entering grades 1-6. Youngsters agree to read 10 or more books during the summer and then list them on the reading record that is kept in the library. Earn prizes and stickers along the way! After reading 10 or more books, kids are eligible to attend a special show at the end of the summer.

YNK (You never know) @ Your Libraryis the theme for those entering grades 7 and 8 in the Fall.

Summer Reading Program Guidelines:

*Children ages 2 ½ to grade 8 may join the reading clubs.

*Children are awarded prizes and stickers as they continue to read.

*For those that complete the required number of books, they are eligible to attend a special show at the end of summer.
