Meeting Room Policy
Library facilities may be used only
for East Hampton Library sponsored or co-sponsored public service
functions, such as children's programming, adult programming, and
library book sales. Such programs will not include programs by private
individuals or entities to promote their services. All programs
shall be free of charge unless a nominal fee is necessary to offset
the cost of materials.
When not in use the meeting room
may be used by Literacy Volunteers as a quiet tutoring space. Groups
needing regular or occasional meeting room space will be referred
to other facilities in the community.
The library will not cosponsor programs
or otherwise permit events at the library by other organizations
without Board approval.
